Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Contract Administrator who will work at Cocoon SDA Care and Cocoon SDA Homes. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing the company’s contracts. They ensure that all agreements are clear, legally sound, and meet the company’s standards. The administrator works closely with both internal teams and external parties to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and make sure that all obligations are met on time. Their attention to detail helps minimise risks and ensures smooth project execution by keeping everything in line with agreed terms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher is required (the appropriate fields include law, business, project management, or construction management/construction economics etc)
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Benefits & Remuneration

• Salary commensurate with experience. 80,000 to $90,000 plus guaranteed superannuation.

• Developing, reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts, programs, projects and services
• Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected
• Providing legal opinions to individuals and legal entities on revenue matters in specific mortgages, redemption, partition, etc.
• Make sure of the contract negotiation, management, assessment, documentation and compliance, respectively.
• Understanding of contract law and compliance laws and regulations
• Managing paper work associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided
• Draft various types of contracts and make sure it’s in compliance with legal requirements.
• Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations in work orders
• Manage and resolve contract-related disputes and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken and reporting on project outcomes
• Preparing and reviewing submissions and reports concerning the organisation’s activities
• Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Learn quickly and master internal contracts management systems.
• An eye for detail and the ability to spot errors and omissions at a glance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
