The opportunity We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join our Water business supporting key operational teams across our contracts. Based in Auckland and reporting to the Claims and Billing Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring all work is processed, recorded, and claimed accurately and on time.  You will support operational leaders to achieve their business objectives by managing claims and contract administration processes, ensuring strong financial outcomes and no revenue leakage. This is a highly collaborative role working across operational teams, clients, and suppliers to maintain high standards of service and compliance.    What we are looking for We are looking for a detail orientated and proactive professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and brings strong administrative capability. You will also bring * Experience in contract administration, billing, or claims processing * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately * Excellent time management and organisational skills * Advanced communication skills both written and verbal * Confidence using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint * Experience working with financial systems and databases * A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and support operational improvements * A strong focus on compliance, safety, and zero harm practices   What we offer At Downer, we are committed to fostering a high performing and inclusive culture where our people can thrive.
