REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in contract administration.
  • Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, subcontracts, variations, progress claims, and site instructions.
  • Familiarity with contractual documentation workflows, including maintaining registers and insurance records.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders and subcontractors to resolve contract-related issues and ensure compliance.
  • Experience supporting or participating in the resolution of contractual disputes, with ability to interpret and advise on contractual obligations.
  • Involvement in project planning and delivery stages, providing contract-related guidance during construction phases.
  • Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are inviting a Contract Administrator to join our fast-growing team, to work on some of Sydney’s most creative and famous architectural residences in Sydney CBD and Eastern suburbs. You’ll work closely with the owner, site supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors to make sure the paperwork is right, the numbers stack up, and the projects run smoothly from start to finish.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ROLE:

  • Prepare, review, and head contracts and subcontracts for residential construction and development projects.
  • Liaise with architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors to clarify scope, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Draft and process contractual documents such as progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and site instructions.
  • Maintain contract registers and track key deliverables, timelines, and insurances across multiple projects.
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes by preparing supporting documentation and advising on interpretation of contract terms.
  • Contribute to project planning meetings and provide contract-related advice throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Manage end-to-end contract admin including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations
  • Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
  • Ensure construction activities are completed up to Authority, private authority, and certifier’s requirements
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
