CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (1 VACANCY)

PTI Transformers LP is a leading innovator of transformer technology with expertise in design, manufacture, delivery and servicing of medium and large power transformers using innovative, sustainable and custom-built solutions that bring value and quality to our customers.
Role: Reporting to the Manager, Customer Care, the Contract Administrator, is responsible for executing the contract administration process and coordinating all interfaces within the project and the company from order entry to delivery all in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Must ensure process integrity, provide commercial and technical experience and insight, and protect the company against risk exposure while providing a high level of customer service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, Business School or Project Management, would be an asset
  • 3+ years’ experience in contract management, customer service and proficiency with Terms & Conditions
  • Basic transformer knowledge would be an asset
  • Project management experience would be an asset
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in French would be an asset
  • Computer literacy (Office Suite an SAP)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work independently and be a strong team player
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Ability to interpret contracts

Responsibilities
  • Act as an account manager, develop and maintain customer relationship
  • Help ensure department and company objectives are met or exceeded
  • Manage projects and ensure projects are completed on time
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of any contract changes
  • Enter contract details in SAP
  • Monitor the project progress to ensure we are tracking on schedule and being proactive of matters to help with the success of the project
  • Ensure field service requirements and commitments are met through dialogue with the Parts & Service Supervisor, all while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the entire process
  • Prepare and release internal contract instructions to all involved departments within the organization
  • Maintain open lines of communication with customers as the exclusive point of customer contact with the Company
  • Liaison with all internal departments of the Company to ensure technical/contractual requirements are met or exceeded
  • Ensure milestone billings are performed on schedule and follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure payments are timely
  • Promote our parts and service group with customers to help facilitate growth
