POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Contract Administrator at Square Construction Group, you will be responsible for managing and administering a wide range of contracts across multiple construction projects. You will ensure that all contractual obligations are met, variations are effectively managed, and project stakeholders remain aligned on commercial and legal requirements.
Your role will involve preparing, negotiating, reviewing, and monitoring various types of contracts, including head contracts, subcontracts, supply and purchasing contracts, and other types of contracts. You will also analyse contract risks, provide recommendations to mitigate potential issues, and liaise with all the stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Contract Administrator.
  2. Experience in the construction industry is required.
  3. Australian work experience as a Contract Administrator, with familiarity of contract management processes and relevant regulations in the Australian construction industry.
  4. Strong experience in managing head contracts, subcontractor agreements, procurement contracts, and other types of contracts.
  5. Ability to analyse contract risks and provide effective solutions.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various project stakeholders.
  7. Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and project tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  8. Continuously improve contract management processes, ensuring efficiency, risk mitigation, and adherence to company and legal standards.
  9. Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management to support decision-making related to contracts.
