Job Purpose
The Contract & Vendor Management professional will be responsible for managing the complete contract and vendor lifecycle, ensuring effective contract administration, vendor performance, commercial compliance, and adherence to organizational policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage contracts throughout the complete lifecycle, including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, amendments, renewals, and closure.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, procurement, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to ensure contractual requirements are met.
Review contractual terms, conditions, obligations, deliverables, milestones, payment terms, and service-level agreements.
Monitor vendor performance against agreed contractual KPIs, SLAs, timelines, and quality standards.
Identify and manage contractual, commercial, operational, and vendor-related risks.
Support contract negotiations and ensure appropriate commercial and contractual protections are incorporated.
Maintain accurate records of contracts, vendor documentation, correspondence, approvals, and amendments.
Track contract expiry dates, renewals, extensions, and key contractual milestones.
Manage vendor onboarding, evaluation, performance reviews, and offboarding activities.
Resolve contractual and vendor-related issues in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Review invoices, deliverables, and payment milestones against contractual terms where required.
Ensure vendors comply with organizational policies, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.
Prepare contract and vendor performance reports, dashboards, and management updates.
Support audits and provide required contractual and vendor documentation.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and improved vendor performance.
Ensure all contract and vendor management activities are properly documented and aligned with governance requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract Management, Law, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in contract management, vendor management, procurement, commercial management, or a related function.
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and vendor governance.
Experience in contract negotiation, administration, and performance management.
Good understanding of commercial terms, SLAs, KPIs, risks, and contractual obligations.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience with contract management, procurement, ERP, or vendor management systems is an advantage.
