Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We’re Seeking for an experienced Contract Engineer to join us, based out of our office in Albany, Auckland. The scope of work will support the current secured programme of maintenance work across the road corridor network for the North of Auckland, with strong emphasis in renewing our roads, now is the perfect time to join our team. You might be a Contract or Site Engineer who has had 2-3 years continuous project delivery experience in similar projects and be flexible to work across either rehab, reinstatement, slip recovery and minor civil works. In addition to the above you will: Plan, organise and manage projects from inception to completion. Ensure work is performed in accordance with industry standards, including quality control documentation, ITP’s to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications. Collate field records and input data for accurate daily productivity. Contribute to the preparation of financial claims to meet payment deadlines. Prepare schedules, budgets, staffing and resource allocation plans on weekly and monthly basis. Attend daily or weekly site meetings and prepare regular updates for clients. Perform audits and checks for site compliance with Safety, Environmental & Quality management plans including reporting on audits and non-conformance and near misses. Oversee the work and provide engineering expertise and technical solutions towards projects. We’re looking for someone with: Hold a qualification in Civil Engineering or related field is ideal. Hold a minimum 2 years’ experience as Site Engineer or Contract Engineer working across local govt road maintenance projects or similar related work is ideal. Hold a NZ Class 1 NZ driver’s licence. Have good understanding of relevant standards (AT and NZTA, Council specifications) is ideal.
