Description

CONTRACT FURNITURE DESIGNER - SWOOD IR35 STATUS: OUT

Hourly - Circa £38 DOE
Contract Term - 6 months potential for extension
Location - Hybrid, office in Shrewsbury
We’re excited to be supporting a well-established company with over 20 years of experience in designing and crafting bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture. Known for their traditional cabinet-making techniques and precision tooling, their team of designers and furniture makers work closely with an in-house construction crew to deliver full refurbishments, bespoke kitchens, and fitted furniture.
Due to high project demand and an internal transition to SolidWorks and SWOOD, the team’s capacity is stretched. They’re seeking a contract Furniture Designer to transform conceptual designs into detailed, production-ready models and CNC outputs, supporting the delivery of bespoke fitted furniture projects with precision and efficiency.

  • Skilled in SWOOD for creating detailed technical drawings and CNC outputs
  • Background in designing fitted furniture (domestic or commercial)
  • Must provide own CAD-capable workstation
