Job Description: Contract Labor (Show Setup) Reports To: Design Director & Visual Merchandising Manager Duration: Temporary – Show Setup Period: 1/28-1/31 Show Breakdown: 2/3 -2/4 Pay Rate: $25/hour Harper Group is seeking a reliable Contract Laborer to support our Design Director and Visual Merchandising Manager during show setup. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with a primary focus on preparing the physical show environment. Responsibilities Assist with setup of displays, fixtures, product layouts, and signage. Help unpack, organize, and stage materials, props, and merchandise. Support the design and visual merchandising teams with on-site tasks and adjustments. Maintain show area cleanliness and ensure all elements meet presentation standards. Handle light inventory organization, labeling, and replenishment as needed. Perform general production duties including lifting, moving, and arranging items. Qualifications Prior experience in production, events, retail, or visual merchandising is a plus but not required. Experience reading planograms. Experience reading blueprints and layouts. Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving boxes/equipment. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow direction well. Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment. Prior experience setting up exhibits and or Tradeshow booths. Lifting various heavy items, up to 50lbs, throughout the day. Hourly $24—$25 USD
Responsibilities
