CONTRACT MAINTENANCE PLANNER, CONSTRUCTION:

On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Maintenance Planner, Construction for a contract role.

CONTRACT MAINTENANCE PLANNER, CONSTRUCTION - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Contract Maintenance Planner, Construction is responsible for managing and coordinating all planning efforts within the LTCHO construction portfolio. The role involves assessing incoming construction/CSU scope, documenting scope details, and collaborating with various teams to optimize construction plans and schedules.

CONTRACT MAINTENANCE PLANNER, CONSTRUCTION - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Familiar with MS Project, SAP, Siteview, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
  • Experience managing construction and commissioning planning efforts.
  • Prior experience collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams.
  • Deep understanding of construction, CSU, and operations workflows.
  • Experience in a brownfield or live operations environment.

CONTRACT MAINTENANCE PLANNER, CONSTRUCTION – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Alberta/Western Canadian construction and safety regulations.
  • Extensive knowledge of tools and various programs used for asset job planning and scheduling.
  • Experience in oil & gas, heavy industrial, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Facilities engineering to understand static equipment requirements.
  • Build detailed plan steps in accordance with safety procedures and company policies.
  • Provide a bottom-up estimate based on detailed activity level plans.
  • Coordinate with Construction Site Representatives and Commissioning and Start-Up Representatives on updates to plans and schedules.
  • Ensure logic ties within a construction project are accurate and efficient.
  • Work with cost control to establish earned value for construction activities.
  • Provide daily updates with Construction site representatives during execution.
  • Support planning/scheduling for post-construction field activities.
