We are seeking a Contracts Management Specialist based in Port Melbourne in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role is based 100% onsite. Reporting to the Senior Finance Leader you will be working collaboratively to ensure that all contracts are managed effectively and any changes are communicated across the business.
The role will have a procedural focus with involvement in business impact assessments. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to manage contracts, competing priorities, to quickly build knowledge of Boeing policies and procedures and develop key relationships across the global organisation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE):

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, flexible, driven and be expected to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:

Tertiary level or equivalent qualifications in law, contracts, procurement, logistics, engineering, business management or other related disciplin

  • eStrong negotiation and influencing skill
  • sTypically 5+ years proven experience in Contract Administration, Contract Management, Legal, Procurement or Business Managemen
  • tExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated experience of customer/supplier interaction. As well as the ability to liaise with colleagues of all level
  • sExcellent attention to detail and accuracy is essential, as well as strong decision making and problem solving skill
  • sThe ability to perform with minimal direction to support diverse and urgent customer need
  • sAbility to work with urgency and deliver to commitments whilst being able to work in challenging condition
  • sExperience within a complex manufacturing environment or global enterprise, highly regarde
