JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our dynamic team in the Singapore construction industry. This role is crucial in overseeing tendering, contracts, and project documentation for roadworks, milling & patching, road marking, and pipe/cable laying projects.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in securing new projects, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements, contributing to the success of large-scale infrastructure initiatives across Singapore.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field .
  • Proven experience in contract management and tendering within the Singapore construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of roadworks, utilities installation, and infrastructure projects .
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Singapore’s construction laws, regulations, and safety standards .
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the tendering and bidding process from initial review to submission, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and project agreements .
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure contract deliverables are met.
  • Analyze tender documents, identify risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate contract records , cost estimates, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory standards, safety codes, and quality requirements .
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Support commercial teams in claims management, variations, and dispute resolution .
