Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee the contractual and commercial aspects of diverse construction and engineering projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and international standards, while mitigating risks and protecting the company’s commercial interests. This role demands strong legal, financial, and negotiation expertise, along with the ability to manage multiple contracts across complex, fast-paced projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements for construction, engineering, and development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE laws, FIDIC standards, and internal policies.
  • Administer contracts throughout their lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, extensions, and close-out.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate contractual risks, including delays, disputes, and penalties.
  • Manage and evaluate claims, variations, and delay analyses in coordination with project, legal, and commercial teams.
  • Oversee obligations of clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Track project milestones, payment schedules, and financial exposure (e.g., liquidated damages).
  • Collaborate with legal counsel, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve contractual issues efficiently.
  • Maintain organized documentation, including contracts, correspondence, change orders, claims, and disputes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Law, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the UAE (mandatory).
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE contract law, FIDIC conditions, and dispute resolution procedures.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and risk management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders across sectors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with contract management software is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per mont
