JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Manager to oversee the contractual and commercial management of construction and civil engineering projects across diverse sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in contract administration, claims, risk management, and negotiations, with a strong knowledge of UAE laws, FIDIC conditions, and regulatory frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, FIDIC conditions of contract, and claims management.
  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation, administration, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex contracts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with contract management software is an advanta

Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for construction, civil engineering, and commercial projects.
  • Ensure all contractual agreements comply with UAE laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including amendments, renewals, extensions, and terminations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, including delays, disputes, and penalties.
  • Oversee contract administration with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance and minimizing exposure.
  • Handle contractual claims, variations, and delay analysis, supporting project teams and legal counsel.
  • Monitor payment terms, project milestones, liquidated damages, and financial obligations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, legal advisors, contractors, and clients to resolve contractual issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of contracts, correspondence, change orders, and claims.
