We currently have an opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in leading the safe, compliant and high‑quality delivery of integrated facilities and asset management services across a major education portfolio. Reporting to the GM – Health & Education, you’ll help deliver outcomes that support essential community infrastructure and long‑term partnerships.   What You’ll Do  This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Lead end‑to‑end contract delivery, ensuring services are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with commercial and contractual obligations.  * Drive performance against KPIs, balancing quality outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction and financial accountability.  * Build strong, trusted relationships with government stakeholders, service partners, unions and internal teams.  * Champion a culture of Zero Harm, wellbeing and high performance, supporting and developing diverse teams to thrive.  * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation and sustainable growth across the portfolio.   What You’ll Bring  * Proven experience leading complex service or facilities management contracts in a performance‑based environment.  * Strong commercial acumen, with experience in financial management, risk governance and contract compliance.  * A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to engage teams and partners at all levels.  * Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, with confidence working across government and community settings.  * A growth mindset, resilience and a genuine commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Why Downer?
