TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced contract manager to lead and manage the delivery of maintenance and major refurbishment contracts for existing structures, with a focus on extending asset life and maximising long-term value. You’ll be joining a team with a reputation for delivery of innovative and complex projects within operational road networks.
This role involves developing and overseeing programmes of strengthening, refurbishment and maintenance works for clients with portfolios of structural assets. It includes preparing procurement plans, tender documents, tender evaluation and administering of physical works contracts.
Experience with NZS3910 contract administration of structural and/or civil engineering maintenance and strengthening within the infrastructure sector is highly desirable. CPEng and NZTA accreditations for contract administration or certification under NZS3910 are advantageous. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and professional body certification or registration
  • Proven experience in a consulting environment, delivering infrastructure projects
  • Expertise in structural and/or civil engineering maintenance and refurbishment
  • Hands-on experience with NZS3910 contract administration within the infrastructure sector
  • CPEng and/or NZTA accreditations or certification under NZS3910 (advantageous)
