The Customer & Contract Management department plays a critical role in the Service Offshore department of Vestas Northern & Central Europe (NCE). The department is responsible for ensuring a high-quality customer experience and professional contract management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated contract and claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence in connection with defect / warranty claims, cost claims and extension of time claims
• Significant experience in wind or heavy construction industries, ideally as a contract & claims manager
• Commercial awareness and practice
• Significant claims management experience with in-depth knowledge of preparing claim correspondence in connection with defect / warranty claims, cost claims and extension of time claims
• Broad knowledge of the types and structure of contracts in the construction and energy industries (e.g., FIDIC)
• Professional qualifications (i.e. RICS) or relevant academic qualifications (i.e. legal qualifications related to construction industry) desirable

• Support the Service team through interpretation of the contract in terms of scope, obligations, rights and remedies and provide summaries thereto
• Review incoming communications from the customer/contractors and, in coordination with the Service team, draft routine notices, submissions, and communications to be submitted in accordance with the contract
• Maintain and supervise an overview of claims, and coordinate evaluation and resolution of such claims with other departments
• Support negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements to optimize the resolution of disputes under the relevant contracts
• Support the Service team and work closely with the Vestas Legal department
