Company DescriptionOur client is an international industrial organization operating in a complex and highly regulated environment. The company manages a large portfolio of indirect procurement contracts and continuously invests in improving governance, compliance, and operational efficiency.To support the procurement organization and strengthen contractual governance, the company is looking for a Contract Management Specialist to support the management and lifecycle of strategic contracts within the Indirect Procurement perimeter.The position involves working closely with procurement teams, legal departments, and internal stakeholders to ensure contract execution, risk mitigation, and improved contractual visibility across the organization.Job DescriptionAs a Contract Management Specialist, you will provide operational and strategic support for the management of approximately 700 indirect procurement contracts.Your responsibilities will include:Contractual Support & OperationsPrepare, review, and structure contractual documentation such as NDAs, framework agreements, amendments, subcontracting agreements, and CAPEX-related contracts.Manage recurring contractual topics related to services, data sharing, and subcontracting.Build complete contractual files to facilitate legal review and approval.Ensure alignment between operational needs, commercial conditions, and legal frameworks.Legal Interface & ComplianceAct as the operational interface between Procurement and the Legal Department.Apply and promote internal contractual guidelines, templates, and standards.Identify legal escalation cases and prepare supporting analysis.Support contractual negotiations involving legal matters such as SLAs, data clauses, and complex agreements.Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Strategic Contract GovernanceMonitor contractual commitments and execution.Support governance of strategic contracts through structured reporting and committees.Identify risks, deviations, and opportunities within contracts.Support structuring of complex agreements with procurement, legal, and operational stakeholders.Manage the contract lifecycle including renewals, renegotiations, extensions, and terminations.Reporting & Continuous ImprovementMaintain contractual dashboards tracking deadlines, risks, and priorities.Provide visibility on contracts to renew, renegotiate, or terminate.Contribute to the improvement of contractual processes and templates.Share best practices within the procurement community.QualificationsProfessional ExpertiseExperience: 5–10 years in Contract Management or similar roles.Strong experience in Contract Management within a procurement environment.Solid understanding of commercial contracts (Framework Agreements, NDAs, SLAs, subcontracting).Ability to apply existing legal frameworks and contractual guidelines.Strong knowledge of the contract lifecycle management process.Experience in Indirect Procurement and CAPEX projects is a plus.Significant experience interacting with Legal Departments.This role offers the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening contractual governance, reducing contractual risks, and supporting strategic procurement initiatives across the organization.Exposure to complex contractual environments within industrial or large organizations.Soft SkillsStrong stakeholder management and coordination abilities.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Solution-oriented mindset.Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to streamline decision-making processes and reduce operational frictionLanguagesFrench: professional levelEnglish: fluent (written and spoken)Additional InformationLocation: Belfort, FranceDuration: 6 months
