Join Johnson Controls as a Contract Manager and play a pivotal role in our dynamic team! In this exciting position, you will lead the full lifecycle of contract management, from the initial sales stage through to execution and closure. Your expertise will not only streamline our processes but also contribute to our commitment to excellence and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Contract Leadership: Take charge of managing contracts, ensuring they align with company policies Standardization: Develop, maintain, and update standard contract agreements for both customers and vendors, ensuring that all agreements meet organizational guidelines. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Contract Specialists, guiding them in conducting thorough contractual risk reviews for all commercial contract categories. Training & Support: Provide hands-on training and guidance to Sales and Operations teams, fostering a deep understanding of contracting practices and procedures. Risk Management: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to protect the company’s interests while advising the business on contractual obligations. Post-Sales Leadership: Collaborate with Field Operations in managing post-sales commercial matters, ensuring efficient handling of payment applications, change orders, and contract claims. What we look for Required A minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management or a related field. Proven people management experience with a passion for developing talent and fostering teamwork. Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles. Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and effectively. Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
