Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Government Contracts Site Manager USAF Mail is charged with the operations of the Government Contract and ensures that all work is performed in accordance with the statement of work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility Resources and the U.S. Government. This position manages a Government Contract with a comparatively low annual revenue, with one location, and a minimal number of employees.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Responsible for the supervision of employees assigned to the contract.
  • Responsible for onboarding new employees.
  • Responsible for setting up training requirements for new hires and existing employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Statement of Work is met satisfactorily according to the government standards.
  • Responsible for assigning work based on priorities and deadlines, selective consideration of the difficulty of the task and capabilities of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures set forth by VersAbility and the Government.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance.
  • Maintain a positive line of communication with Government representatives.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of employee records, including file management.
  • Responsible for maintaining a contract records system.
  • Responsible for keeping the Government Contracts Assistant Director informed of any circumstances that could negatively affect VersAbility’s relationship with the Government.
  • Responsible for participating in meetings and trainings, as directed by the Assistant Director and/or government customer.
  • Responsible for communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with VersAbility and Government personnel.
  • Assist employees with accommodation requests.
  • Assist Facility Security Officer (FSO) with employee security requirements.
  • Conduct QA inspections and report findings to the Assistant Director of Government Contracts.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee relations.
  • Conduct safety inspections.
  • Responsible for completing employee payroll.
  • Responsible for ensuring all contract operations exceed safety requirements per OSHA and other regulating bodies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree is preferred.
    Experience: A minimum of two years experience supervising general work; experience working with people with disabilities preferred. Security clearance required.
