What will I be doing?
We’re looking for a Contract Manager who will be instrumental in overseeing the operational management of our Forwarding Stock Locations (FSL) clients and supporting the BMW contract. You will focus on driving operational excellence, managing service levels, and supporting system implementations. Your role will include collaborating with account management to maintain strong client relationships, managing data integrity, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operational processes.

SKILLS NEEDED FOR A CONTRACT MANAGER:

  • Proven experience in managing operational processes within logistics or supply chain environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complete operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Skilled in supporting client relationships and addressing operational concerns in customer meetings
  • Experience in driving operational improvements and implementing new systems or processes.
  • Demonstrated success in managing operational roles within logistics or supply chain sectors.
  • Previous experience in auditing and improving operational processes.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance requirements within operational settings

Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for supporting the daily operations for our Forwarding Stock Locations (FSL) clients and the BMW contract.
  • You will work closely with the FSL & BMW Key Account Managers to support new client engagement, client interactions, addressing any operational issues that arise and maintaining client trust.
  • You will also play a crucial role in supporting IT with the management of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). This includes support in maintaining the existing WMS with the potential to support in the development of any new WMS solutions and ensuring the accuracy of business intelligence (BI) data.
  • Conducting audits of service centres to ensure they adhere to established standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing operational enhancements will also be key responsibilities.
