Contract Manager - in Hospitals and Education Construction Sector, up to £65k p.a
Our client is a Main Contractor that specialise in construction projects in the Hospital and Education sector. They are looking for a Contract Manager that Tier 1 main contractor experience in healthcare or education construction that understands sector-specific regulations and standards, plus working in live environments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS FOR THE CONTRACT MANAGER ARE:

  • Possess a CSCS Black Card NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
  • Min 3 years experience in contract management, working in the hospital or education sector
  • Previous experience working with Tier 1 Main Contractor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective vendor and stakeholder communication.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate contract performance and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during contract execution.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple contracts
  • Precision in contract documentation and monitoring to ensure compliance.
  • Proficiency in contract management software, Microsoft Office, and relevant industry-specific tools.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTRACT MANAGER ARE:

  • Oversee contracts for refurbishment and new build projects within the Hospital and Education Sector.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Chair meetings with subcontractors and consultants, issuing minutes
  • Support pre-construction teams during tender processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual correspondence and project documentation
