Responsibilities
  • Leading and influencing strategic and tactical sourcing activities technology projects that deliver new solutions for the airport or upgrades and enhancements to existing solutions;
  • Constructively challenging business plans and strategy documents to ensure robustness of approach that maximises commercial opportunity and mitigates risk;
  • Managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefit; and
  • Supporting and maintaining all necessary agreed processes for supplier management, claims management, benefits and savings and continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, governance, regulatory, risk-reward and exit strategy requirements.
  • Experience of defining and creating procurement approaches to deliver stakeholder outcomes
  • Advanced partnering, influencing and negotiation skills to build strong relationships
  • Ideally a professional qualification of commercial or legal bias or able to demonstrate equivalent capability coupled with experience in procurement roles
  • Experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models, using a range of reimbursement/pricing model
