Description:
REGION MED > CUSTOMER PROJECT EXECUTION, MED > REGIONAL PERFORMANCE & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
Contract Management (reporting to the Head of Contract Management and supporting the Head of Construction & Project Managers) is, within the Customer Project Execution Department, responsible for supporting the execution of the projects regarding the fulfillment of the contractual rights and obligations arising from all the contracts performed in the region.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in law or industrial engineering is beneficial, but other careers will also be considered
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in contract management or a similar position
- Experience in EPC contracts, managing the main contract, as well as civil and electrical subcontractors
- Proficiency in Romanian and an advanced level of English are required. French or Spanish would be preferred
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and achieve a clear understanding of the main contract and corresponding annexes as well as elaborate the necessary documentation to support the Project Manager on the proper understanding of the rights and obligations
- Provide contractual analysis and guidance linked to the events shared by the project team
- Drafting and organizing contractual notices, response to customer letters or any other notification, within the project strategy and business constraints
- Support on the claim (extensions of time event and extra costs) preparations and corresponding negotiations
- Follow-up internal approvals and compliance documentation
- Reporting, analysis and evaluation of project outcomes to optimize the cost and profitability of Vestas projects
- Provide contractual feedback to different stakeholders/management within a developing strategy to improve future contract clause
