Join a team where your work makes life a little sweeter every day! The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of Contract Manufacturing (Co-Man) business. This position blends strategic business development with strong customer relationship management. The role focuses on expanding key partnerships, identifying new revenue opportunities, and executing long-term strategies to strengthen our position in the confectionary coatings markets, while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and operational excellence. This position is located onsite at our Wyomissing corporate office. Contract Manufacturing Account Manager Key Responsibilities Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to recommend strategies that drive growth and profitability. Support contract negotiations, proposals, and pricing strategies to maximize long-term value. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing relationships, reporting, and account performance. Handle day-to-day customer inquiries, purchase orders, and requests, ensuring timely resolution and accurate order processing. Lead weekly customer calls to review updates, production status, and upcoming requirements. Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (Operations, Planning, R&D, Quality, Customer Service) to ensure expectations are met. Develop and maintain account plans that align with customer objectives and company goals. Provide regular reporting, forecasting, and documentation for active accounts, proactively addressing concerns and tracking key metrics. Support resolution of service or product issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Requirements The ideal candidate for the Account Manager role is a strategic, data-driven professional who thrives at the intersection of customer relationship management and business growth. They bring experience in manufacturing, coatings, or contract manufacturing, and understand the dynamics of both day-to-day account management and long-term strategic development. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, ideally within manufacturing, coatings, or contract manufacturing industries. Strong ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships. Proven track record of driving revenue growth while balancing customer satisfaction. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a results-driven mindset. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP/CRM systems.
