JOIN OUR TEAM AS A CONTRACT MEDICAL CHART REVIEWER!

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Medical Chart Reviewer to join Origin Biologics on a 90-day contract with the possibility of extension. You’ll review donor medical records for accuracy and compliance, supporting our mission to provide high-quality orthopedic implants.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Medical Chart Reviewer, you’ll focus on reviewing donor medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and quality standards. You’ll work closely with our internal teams, medical directors, and recovery partners to support donor eligibility determinations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience reviewing medical records or charts required; experience with organ/tissue recovery or healthcare documentation preferred
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and regulatory compliance standards
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Backgrounds in medical scribing, quality assurance, healthcare auditing, or similar fields are highly valued
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; relevant certifications (RN, EMT, CTBS, etc.) are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and approve donor medical records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company, federal, and state requirements
  • Identify incomplete or inconsistent information and request additional documentation as needed
  • Coordinate with procurement organizations and internal teams to obtain required medical records quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain organized and accurate records in alignment with regulatory guidelines
  • Support quality assurance processes and escalate findings when necessary
