ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking experienced Contract Officers to join our team that manages operational contracts across Sydney Water and its delivery partners.
This role actively contributes to the management of multi-million-dollar contracts within the Network Operations team, delivering works and services, at best value for Sydney Water.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contract & Operational Management: Oversee multi-million-dollar contracts, ensuring timely delivery of works and services. Manage contractor performance, coordinate work programs, and support emergency response efforts.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with councils, contractors, and other partners. Handle enquiries and complaints professionally and contribute to stakeholder meetings.
• Commercial Oversight: Process contract payments, support financial reporting, and identify cost-effective delivery methods.
• Compliance & Performance: Monitor KPIs, ensure contract compliance, and participate in audits and site inspections.
• Contract Development: Contribute to contract scoping, tender evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
