We are the Legal Affairs & Liaison Office team of the Environmental Sciences Group (ESG), part of Wageningen University & Research (WUR). A young and energetic team with strong growth ambitions, a passion for law, and a pragmatic approach to finding solutions.
We handle challenging work for inspiring stakeholders on both national and international levels. We take pride in our informal atmosphere and provide everyone with the opportunity to grow, both professionally and personally. We believe that a relaxed environment and direct communication bring out the best in everyone.
To support our ambitions, we are looking for a Contract Officer.
As a Contract Officer, you will support our organization and legal staff both administratively and substantively in the drafting of a wide variety of agreements and other documents. You will also contribute to (legal) questions and requests as they arise. You will carry out some of your tasks independently, managing your own portfolio of responsibilities. You will act as a key link between internal stakeholders and the legal team, and you know how to navigate a complex organization with ease.
Your main tasks
Wageningen University & Research offers excellent terms of employment. A few highlights from our Collective Labour Agreement include:
In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of minimum of €3,316 to a maximum of €4,734 for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 9). We are looking for a new colleague for a maximum of 28 hours per week (0.7 FTE). As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance. Of course, we are happy to have a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
Wageningen University & Research offers plenty of opportunities for growth and development, with a strong internal recruitment policy and excellent training programmes.
You will work on the greenest and most innovative campus in the Netherlands, in an international and open working environment. For 20 consecutive years, we have been voted the “best university” in the Netherlands! A place to be proud of.
