• Managing staff activities to include ensuring all uniform, IT, vehicle, and operational processes are being met.
• Deliver staff training in line with the businesses and customers policies and procedures.
• Ensure adequate resource is always available to fulfill contractual obligations they should make sure all drivers have the appropriate equipment to complete the day’s work.
• Manage HR, recruitment, and contractual tasks as required with the operational teams.
• Overall responsibility for the customer relationship.
• Identification of driver non-compliance from monitoring routes and resolving as appropriate.
• Managing the service in line with the customer expectations.
• Answering customer queries via email and phone, problem-solving and communicating all issues with the GM Commercial as required.
• Responsible for service delivery.
• Running all reports required to ensure contracts are operating to contractual compliance. These to include stock control, temperature reporting, and route timings.
• Ensure all staff and driver holidays are planned and managed to ensure the year-round cover.
• Work with the out of hours team to ensure they have all the information required to manage out of hours work.
• Manage the in the progression of vehicle accidents and insurance processes for vehicles on contracts.
• Manage P&L across your portfolio.
• Manage a team of around 25 drivers across 3 contracts
