Technical Recruiter ASR International Corp has an opening for a Contract Operations Specialist to support our Project Management and Proposal Teams. The position is full time, on site at our Corporate Headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with the drive to succeed, supporting projects of national importance. Military Veterans and Retiree's are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: Perform full cycle contract startup efforts, which includes sourcing, posting, evaluating staff resumes, pre-screening applicants, scheduling, interviewing, assessing, evaluating skills, and start up activities. Support the business needs of multiple projects by developing and executing strategies associated with contract startup for our Department of Defense and other Federal Agency contracts nationwide. Work with project teams to operations needs, staff duties, qualifications, and skills. Review staffing to align with contract requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years equivalent Government contracting experience in lieu of a degree. Strong knowledge of Government services contracting terms and conditions (FAR and DFARS) Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, follow-up, and organizational skills. Strong work ethic with an ALL-IN attitude. Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish goals. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of organizations and individuals. Multi-task and prioritize concurrent tasks in a fast-paced work environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficient in use of computers and software tools including Microsoft 365 Government contracting experience.
