We are a small, privately-owned oil and gas company seeking a Contract Operator to manage daily field operations just north of Halkirk, Alberta. Our production is primarily from pumpjacks, consolidated into one central oil battery and a small gas plant. We’re looking for a motivated, self-starting professional with hands-on oilfield experience.
Schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, 10 hour shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience operating oil wells and oil batteries is required
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of oilfield equipment
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable field vehicle

• Operate and monitor oil wells and pumpjacks daily
• Oversee and maintain oil battery and small gas plant
• Perform basic troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed
• Record and report production data accurately
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Communicate with management and third-party service providers
