Description Seeking an experienced PACS Administrator for a short-term CONTRACTOR role to support enterprise medical imaging systems during a significant PACS change project with an emphasis on systems and application support and troubleshooting. Reviewing key components (ex. Monitors, Queues and Logs) of the PACS and Archive system ensuring a healthy platform Taking appropriate actions or providing guidance to local team to ensure a healthy platform Maintain the quality and integrity of medical images within the PACS and Archive system Troubleshoot and resolve PACS system and study level issues Collaborate with stakeholders in various departments to identify and implement integrations and technologies that enhance workflow efficiency for the clinical team Participate in project tasks, including supporting new radiology applications, integrations, and technologies Completing requests for specialized image exports Utilize HL7 and DICOM network experience to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues and error messages Completing system impacting tasks after normal business hours This is CONTRACT only role with possible remote opportunity Requirements Basic knowledge of SQL for running queries. Experience working with vendors. Experience with PowerScribe for reporting and voice recognition systems 5+ years of current experience with Merative Merge PACS Strong understanding of radiology workflows and experience with RIS applications Experience interfacing with Merge PACS and Archive systems Proficiency in troubleshooting HL7 and DICOM network protocols Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
