Description

We are seeking an experienced independent contractor with advanced QuickBooks Online expertise to assist with a short-term accounting cleanup and financial reconstruction project. This is a contract engagement only and is not an employee position. PROJECT SCOPE * Review previous transactions (primarily journal entries). * Research, document, and remove those transactions in accordance with our remediation plan. * Compare historical trial balances to identify and resolve variances affecting prior years. * Maintain a complete audit trail of all changes. * Create and preserve a QuickBooks Online export/recovery point before each phase of the cleanup. EXPERIENCE * Expert-level QuickBooks Online experience. * Experience with historical accounting cleanups, and audit support. * Able to work independently with minimal direction. * Detail-oriented and comfortable working with prior-period transactions. We already have a remediation plan. We are looking for a contractor to execute the plan accurately and efficiently—not to determine the cause.
