Description
Location: Remote (US-based) Role Type: 3–6 month contract (with potential extension) Start Date: As soon as possible Pay: $45–$65/hr, pending location and experience Company Overview: At Springboard, we’re on a mission to bridge the world’s skills gap by offering transformative online education that blends human support with technology. Our programs help learners build meaningful new careers across tech and healthcare — from data science, UI/UX design, software engineering, and cybersecurity to Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) and Pharmacy Technician. Our courses may be tech-enabled, but they’re ultimately human-centric. Each student joins a community of peers, live instructors, mentors, and career coaches who guide them every step of the way. Through this hybrid approach, we’ve helped thousands of learners transform their careers — and their lives — with hundreds of top-tier job offers received every year and a near-perfect placement rate for our graduates. Role Summary: The greatest strength of Springboard’s model of education is the people who make it possible — our mentors, live instructors, and coaches across Tech and Allied Health. As a Contract Recruiter on the Course Talent Operations team, you’ll play a key role in building and scaling that community. You’ll manage the operational side of hiring instructional talent — from top-of-funnel sourcing and candidate screening to onboarding and quality assurance. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role ideal for someone who wants to gain full-cycle recruiting experience across diverse domains — from software engineers to certified medical assistants. If you’re organized, people-focused, and excited about the intersection of education, recruiting, and healthcare, this role is for you. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end hiring operations for mentors, live instructors, and coaches across both Allied Health and Tech programs. Review, screen, and assess candidates using our recruiting tools (Greenhouse, Indeed etc) and standardized scorecards for both technical and healthcare expertise. Evaluate candidates’ communication, professionalism, and teaching/mentorship potential, ensuring alignment with Springboard’s learner-first approach. Partner with the Course Talent team to develop and iterate on sourcing and acquisition strategies for niche roles — including licensed Allied Health professionals (e.g., CMAs, CPhTs) and experienced tech mentors. Collaborate cross-functionally with Program Operations, Student Success, and Learning teams to ensure timely hiring aligned with cohort and course launch needs. Support improvements to our mentor/instructor onboarding experience and recruitment processes as we expand into new verticals. About You 1-3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in high-volume or education/healthcare/tech hiring environments. Strong sourcing ability — comfortable finding passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, niche boards, and professional communities. Experience managing end-to-end hiring pipelines and delivering against volume goals. Organized, metrics-driven, and able to prioritize across multiple concurrent searches. Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior-level professionals and credentialed experts. Thrives in remote, fast-moving environments; able to operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally. Preferred Experience Have experience recruiting or supporting hiring for Allied Health or Healthcare Education roles (e.g., medical assistants, pharmacy technicians, nurses, healthcare instructors) Have experience with recruiting tech stacks such as Django, Crosschq, SparkHire, cNPS, or CRMs. Have worked in EdTech, healthcare staffing, or certification-based training environments. Have served as (or worked closely with) a mentor, instructor, or coach in education or workforce development programs. Comfort balancing contract recruiting deliverables with high-quality candidate experience.
