Description:
TLT are looking for a Contract Senior Associate to join our market leading FSDI team based in Glasgow. This role offers flexible working and would best suit a Scottish qualified Solicitor 4+ year’s PQE.
The role will be a 12 month contract and will be paid a day rate via an Umbrella Company. You will ideally reside in the Glasgow area as some office attendance is required.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for:
- A Scottish qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered), with prior legal experience in financial or commercial litigation
- A forward thinker, with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills, you will be self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines
- Commercial awareness with some exposure to business development and the ability to maintain and nurture strong client relationships
- Ability to develop a deep understanding of your client’s business needs and act in the best interest of the firm and the client
- Contribution to our collaborative culture, with an ambition to assist in the development of junior team members
Responsibilities:
- As a key addition to the team, you can expect to be involved with:
- Running a varied caseload for key financial services clients including clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders, with potential to be involved in commercial dispute resolution cases
- Supporting our FSDI Partners and assisting junior members of the team
- Acting as a key point of contact for one or more strategic clients and being a trusted business advisor to clients
- Actively engaging in business development activities
