As a Senior Software Engineer on a contract basis, you will join a dynamic team delivering innovative digital solutions for diverse clients. You will play a key role in designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable applications using React and Node.js, contributing to both frontend and backend development. Your work will influence software architecture, component composition, state management, and integration with design systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, applying best practices in CI/CD, testing, and infrastructure automation. This position provides the opportunity to work remotely across Europe, driving high-quality software delivery while advancing your technical expertise in modern web development technologies. \n Accountabilities Develop and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications using React and Node.js. Implement complex component architectures, state management patterns, and reusable code modules. Integrate design systems and collaborate with designers using tools such as Figma and its APIs. Ensure high code quality through unit, integration, end-to-end, and visual regression testing. Apply modern tooling for transpiling, bundling, packaging, linting, and formatting. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code processes to streamline deployment and automation. Collaborate with team members to deliver solutions efficiently in a remote, agile environment. Requirements Proven commercial experience with React and Node.js in professional projects. Strong expertise in CSS methodologies, including Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, and CSS Modules. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, MobX, or Context API. Knowledge of modern build and packaging tools (esbuild, Vite, Yarn, Turborepo, etc.). Experience with documentation generation, CI/CD, automated testing, and design system integration. Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend/backend development best practices. Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative with strong problem-solving abilities.
