We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Services Manager.  Join our team and play a key role in managing overall performance and delivery of our Service Level Agreement (SLA) with Kāinga Ora for the Auckland region. Reporting to National Manager Housing, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.   Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity  Spotless Facilities Services (a Downer Company) delivers a range of Facilities Maintenance and Management Services to Kāinga Ora. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: * Ensuring Zero Harm is embedded at every site and that there is a lived experience (active engagement) of Zero Harm by all. * Providing leadership and direction to the Downer delivery team and Service Delivery Partners (SDPs)/subcontractors. * Managing business performance, including the achievement of financial targets, KPIs and cost containment strategies. * Developing strong, collaborative customer relationships and ensuring customer interactions are positive and constructive. * Assessing, managing, and escalating, as appropriate, any business risks. * Seek out new opportunities to service the client and increase our portfolio   Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills (experience required) * Minimum 5 years’ management level experience within the facilities or housing industry. * Proven leadership skills. * Strong communicator  * Proven fiscal skills and an ability to both manage costs and drive improved productivity. * Demonstrated commercial acumen. * Experience in driving operational activities to ensure quality is achieved, work is completed to schedule and rework is minimised. * Proven time management and organisational skills. * Demonstrated strong interpersonal and leadership skills. * Proficient in using technology and applications  * Ability and willingness to travel.   More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.   Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation  At Downer, we plan, create, and sustain essential public services across Australia and New Zealand.
