We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Specialist to support our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. In this role, you will manage a wide range of contracting activities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. What You’ll Do: Coordinate and prepare documentation to evaluate the financial and administrative impact of contracts. Review, negotiate, and implement contracts in compliance with corporate policies. Lead and train team members in contract data entry and database management (Lawson). Monitor contract performance using software tools and internal feedback. Support senior leadership in creating and maintaining service contracts. Oversee contract renewals and resolve contractual issues in a timely manner. Streamline contracting processes and enhance communication across departments. Facilitate administrative meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure consistent and predictable attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring: Education: Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. JD, MBA, or Paralegal degree desired. Experience: Required: 2–4 years of experience in managed care, business, legal studies, healthcare, or a related field. Preferred Experience: 6 months in a contract management environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with Lawson contract database is a plus. Why Emplify Health by Gundersen?
