Overview Negotiate Contracts. Support Operations. Ensure Compliance. As a Contract Specialist, You Will: Prepare, review, and negotiate agreements with contracting agencies, payors, and other healthcare partners. Consult frequently with operations and other departments during the contract preparation process. Gather and analyze information and data from branch personnel, regulatory departments, contracting agencies, and other sources to support projects. Provide input to field management to assess operational and financial feasibility of agreements. Develop original contracts, letters, and other documents to support business objectives. Ensure accurate and timely entry of information into the department database and compliance with policies and procedures. Interact with internal customers and other departments (Risk Management, Clinical Services, Law, Regulatory) with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
