Candidates without valid work permit in Norway and NORSOK experience from operators will not be evaluated Location: Sandsli (Bergen) or Stavanger, Norway Contract Period: 31.03.2026 – 30.08.2027 Workload: Full-Time Workplace: Onshore Language requirements: Norwegian and English We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. The category portfolio primarily consists of crew change and search & rescue helicopter contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). In addition, the team is responsible for airborne drones for logistics and fixed-wing charter flights. This role involves both establishing new agreements and managing existing contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement throughout the contract lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Establish Agreements Lead enquiry processes efficiently and in compliance with internal requirements Ensure safety, security, and sustainability in procurement activities Develop Specific Procurement Strategies aligned with business needs and Category Strategy Analyse relevant markets and connect insights to business needs Prepare and issue Requests for Information (RFI) Establish bidder lists and evaluation procedures Issue and manage enquiries Handle bid clarifications and conduct clarification meetings Plan and conduct negotiations Perform evaluations and contract awards, including partner approvals Ensure structured handover to contract management phase, including strategic objectives Manage Agreements Contract Start-up: Implement contracts in relevant systems (Plan-to-Pay) Receive and archive guarantees Contribute to establishing and managing risk-based follow-up plans Ensure agreement understanding and compliance (training internal and external stakeholders) Participate in contract start-up meetings with suppliers Performance & Relationship Management: Ensure correct use of contracts Analyse cost and performance data Manage stakeholders Initiate and implement improvements Manage supplier relationships Ensure SOX compliance Contract Changes & Deviations: Handle variation order requests (VOR) and variation orders (VO) Manage amendments, options, and rate adjustments Address supplier quality deviations Handle contractual matters including Force Majeure Close-out: Accept delivery Final account settlement Contract closure Qualifications & Competence Ability to work independently while collaborating closely within a team Strong negotiation and communication skills Solid knowledge of contract follow-up and relevant internal regulations (e.g., ARIS), or the ability to quickly acquire such knowledge Flexible and adaptable regarding work tasks Proficiency in both English and Norwegian, written and spoken
