About the role Techno is seeking a Contract Specialist who will perform a variety of contract management duties requiring independent analysis, sound judgment, and thorough knowledge of company procedures. The role supports construction management operations and may include tasks across multiple projects, providing critical assistance to ensure contracts are executed accurately and efficiently. What you'll do Support the Engineer of Construction with contract administration and management tasks. Maintain full knowledge of contract documents and ensure compliance. Prepare and/or review payment applications and change orders. Review desk audits of contractor billings and ensure proper documentation is received. Monitor contracts and track contractor reporting for MWBE and Certified Payrolls. Review monthly reports and update financial logs. Prepare meeting minutes, general correspondence, and schedule meetings. Maintain databases, records, and filing systems. Follow up with contractors and stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person communication. Coordinate processes and ensure smooth execution of contract-related activities. Qualifications Prior Construction Management/Administration required. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in office engineering and/or administration work with principal experience the administration of construction contracts. Familiarity with reviewing and processing contractor extra work documents e.g. change orders. Associates Degree in Business from an accredited college or university, Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering preferable. Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Experience using SharePoint, and MS Teams. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to obtain a high SWAC clearance or SIDA at Airports or TWIC at Ports. The total compensation, including salary and bonuses, is determined by various factors such as experience, skill level, location, and qualifications, which are evaluated during the interview process
