ABOUT THE POSITION

Xypex is seeking an experienced Contract & Legal Specialist with a strong background in contract review and legal coordination to join our growing team in Richmond, BC.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for reviewing, revising, and maintaining a wide range of contracts and agreements — including distributor, licensee, vendor, employment, and software agreements — with a high degree of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail. You’ll also support various legal and compliance processes across our global operations, including corporate records, due diligence, and HR-related documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Review, revise, and maintain contracts and agreements, including distributor agreements, licensee agreements, vendor onboarding packages, NDAs, employment agreements, and software/SaaS contracts.
  • Ensure consistency in contract terms, formatting, and alignment with company standards.
  • Summarize key terms and flag potential risks or deviations for internal review.
  • Coordinate the execution process by collecting approvals, managing signatures, and maintaining version control.
  • Administer and improve a centralized digital contract repository, ensuring accessibility and lifecycle tracking.
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, procurement, HR, operations, finance) to support contract compliance and documentation needs.
  • Assist with legal tasks including corporate filings, compliance tracking, and maintenance of corporate records.
  • Support employment-related legal documentation such as offer letters, addenda, and contractor agreements.
  • Coordinate with external counsel as needed to support legal and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
