Description

Lancer Scott FM require a social housing contract supervisor who can manage contracts to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective service delivery within housing services, overseeing response reactive works, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing risks, liaising with tenants and contractors, and leading operational teams to meet key performance indicators and customer satisfaction targets. They will ensure work meets specifications and safety standards, control variations, and support continuous improvement efforts.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills to interpret financial and performance data.
  • Proven ability to manage social housing contracts, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in housing maintenance.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, tenants, and contractors.
  • Ability to understand and use industry NFHA rates

Responsibilities
  • Contract Management:

Oversee contracts, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and align with organisational policies.

  • Quality & Compliance:

Ensure all work is carried out to required specifications, quality standards, and complies with relevant health & safety legislation and codes of practice.

  • Risk Management:

Identify and manage risks associated with contract operations and implement financial and operational controls to mitigate them.

  • Liaison & Communication:

Act as a key liaison with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to report progress, manage expectations, and resolve issues.

  • Performance Management:

Monitor contract performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), deliver high-quality service, and strive for continuous improvement.

  • Team & Supply Chain Management:

Manage and support operational staff and third-party supply chains, ensuring adherence to company procedures and customer service standards.
