Weatherproofing Advisors is a national Roofing, Cladding and Scaffolding company with locations in Glasgow, Newcastle, Merseyside, London, and Bristol. We are currently recruiting for the following position:
· 1 Contracts Supervisor for our Newcastle Branch

JOB SUMMARY - PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

Demonstrable experience of working in a roofing environment, using various systems and materials. Knowledge of health and safety and site site-up. Ability to communicate at all levels. Self-organisation, decision making, and self-motivation are essential. Works well in a team with the ability to take the initiative to meet commitments

• Monitor and control job costs.
• Negotiate best value with suppliers and service providers.
• Attend and participate in pre-contract handover meetings to improve profitability of jobs.
• Attend and contribute to weekly contracts meetings, contribute to cost analysis of projects.
• Plan organise and manage operations for effective and efficient working
• Carry out team briefings and tool-box talks.
• Ensure productivity levels are maintained on site.
• Minimise waste in line with profitability and quality targets
• Prepare Health and Safety documentation in line with WPA Arrangements for Health and Safety.
• Reporting on contract progress at weekly operations meeting
• Carry out service reviews during and after contract completion.
• Ensure that company standards are being always adhered to on site.
• Communicate positively with client representatives.
