Officers must have the Security Industry Training Organisation basic qualification or equivalent experience.
First aid qualification is desired, but not essential, as training can be provided by company.
Full UK manual driving licence and be a minimum of 25 years of age having held a UK driving licence for a minimum of two years (Required)
Responsibilities
The maintenance of good order on site, including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident.
The protection of the client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste.
The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage.
Prevent offences against the law of the land, UniTrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management.
Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear.
Undertake internal and external patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instruction/SOP’s. Utilising the patrolling and reporting system where applicable.
Working with the reception team meet and greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out. Some standing (for more than one hour) may be required.
Escalating any issues security and maintenance related issues to the Facilities Team by detailed and accurate emails/incident reports.
Production and administration of access cards for tenants, visitors and contractors for the access control system.
Monitor, escalate and respond to alarms as required with the CCTV, Security & BMS systems.
As a part of the Security Response Team, provide, assistance with emergency procedures in accordance with instructions and training.
Management of Contractors for the client and tenants. Liaising with tenants particularly during tenant’s fit out stage.
Completing permit to work forms as required.
Carry our escort duties for Contractors and some deliveries as required
Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
Maintaining an accurate records.
Manage ad-hoc projects/tasks.
Monitoring and responding to CCTV and intruder alarms.
Liaison with the Building Services for out of hours service calls
Key Control and management of daily issues.
General security duties and duties in line with the front of house role as requested by the Facilities Team.
