Talent Acquisition Manager
6-Month Contract | Hybrid | Locations: Kansas City, Omaha, or Minneapolis
We’re partnering with a national company firm to find a contract Talent Acquisition Manager who can hit the ground running and lead recruitment efforts for field-based operations roles. This individual will manage a high-volume requisition load (20–30 roles) focused on hiring key construction professionals. With a limited talent pool and a highly competitive landscape, this role calls for someone with deep sourcing experience and a proactive mindset. The position is hybrid, with 2 days in-office preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle for field leadership and operational roles
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to build recruiting strategies aligned with evolving business needs
  • Proactively source passive candidates using creative channels and outreach techniques
  • Coordinate and lead interview processes, keeping internal stakeholders aligned at every stage
  • Ensure a streamlined, positive candidate experience while maintaining urgency in a competitive hiring environment
  • Track and report on pipeline activity and hiring progress
  • Provide insight on market trends, industry benchmarks, and sourcing best practices
  • Collaborate with peers across other regions to share knowledge and maintain consistency

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with exposure to the construction industry or similar environments
  • Proven success sourcing and engaging candidates for hard-to-fill or niche positions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong ability to influence stakeholders
  • Experience managing high-volume recruiting and navigating shifting priorities
  • Strategic thinker who enjoys solving hiring challenges with creative, resourceful solutions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting that blends autonomy with collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
