Salary: Technologist Grade 1 with a Salary Scale of €41,580 to €78,830

QUALIFICATIONS

• A Level 8 degree (as recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent), in the social or life sciences or a related discipline.
• Candidates must have experience of working in a multidisciplinary (multi-actor) work or project environment
• A postgraduate degree and/or research experience in social science would be a distinct advantage

SKILLS

• Excellent field research and data collection skills
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities
• Effective communication skills with farmers and rural communities
• Report writing and data analysis capabilities
• Ability to work independently while following established protocols
• Strong team-working skills in multidisciplinary environments
• Experience in farmer engagement or agricultural extension
• Experience contributing to scientific communications
• Experience with agricultural data collection systems
• Knowledge of EU project procedures and requirements

KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of the agricultural sector and sustainability challenges
• Knowledge of Agroecological principles and processes
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of supporting Living Laboratory processes
• Knowledge of behavioural science
