As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Telecommunications Trainee / Cabler/Installer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Telecommunications Trainee/Contractor Cabler, you will gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, learning about various aspects of telecommunications operations, systems and technical support.
The position will start as part time / casual with hours increasing for the right candidate as required. The work is project based and onsite all around Sydney.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the telecommunications industry is ideal.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic technical aptitude or interest in technology.
• Computer literacy a strong advantage
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be able to work unsupervised with a sense of integrity and responsibility.
• Open Cabling Licence preferred.
• White card, First aid / CPR essential
• Working at heights, EWP would be an advantage but not essential

• Assist with the installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.
• Learn about telecommunications systems and networks to support daily operations.
• Participate in task planning and execution.
• Support team members in project onsite installation tasks including, site set up and planning, cable preparation and installation.
