Location: Remote Position Overview There are women who are married—and yet profoundly lonely. From the outside, their lives may look stable, but inside the marriage, something feels broken. Many women in these spaces carry confusion, shame, grief, resentment, or quiet despair. We are seeking a contract writer to serve women experiencing loneliness within marriage. This is not a general book on marriage. It is not primarily about fixing a spouse or offering quick relational strategies. Instead, this book should thoughtfully address the spiritual, emotional, and theological challenges that arise when marriage feels isolating rather than intimate. The strongest proposals will demonstrate how the book will meet the reader in her particular experience of marital loneliness, guiding her toward Christ’s sustaining grace. Scope of Work Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words) Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment Commitment Contract, per-project basis. Compensation Compensation is determined based on project scope and complexity. Additional Information Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Comparable Titles (2–3 from the Past 5 Years) Identify 2–3 comparable books published within the last five years and explain: How your book overlaps with each one How it is meaningfully distinct in approach, audience, tone, or theological emphasis 6. Author Bio Explain what uniquely qualifies you to write this book, including: Education Ministry, counseling, academic, or professional experience Subject-matter expertise Lived experience relevant to the topic (if appropriate) Previous publishing or writing experience 7. Detailed Chapter Outline Provide a working table of contents that includes: Chapter titles The main idea of each chapter and how it supports the controlling idea of the book 8.
