YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your customer service skills? Are you passionate about driver safety? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to coordinate all aspects of driver training, retention, safety, truck equipment and document collection.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Assist CEVA Line Haul Recruiters with recruiting efforts via local communication of incentives, programs, etc. with ICs and/or potential driving candidates.
Assist with Driver Qualification process via local communication with ICs and/or their subcontractors to follow up on outstanding items required for onboarding or follow up to ensure the Qualification process continues progressing in a timely manner.
Promote driver retention by interacting with drivers, assisting with any on-line driver trainings, listening and documenting driver’s feedback, oversight and assistance of any concerns, surrounding pay, safety performance and any other issues, as well as recognizing positive behaviors (safe driving, excellent customer service, etc.).
Encourage safety awareness by assisting the Regional Fleet Safety Manager by promoting safe driving, educating on safety regulations and any other available safety programs.
Oversee and document equipment concerns including yard check inventory for operations management review.
Assist as needed with obtaining operational files for drivers including vehicle information, inspection, maintenance reports, DOT compliance and other pertinent information.
Coordinate the paperwork flow between the driver, fleet managers, recruiting, Fleet Safety, Ground Regulatory Compliance, Change of Status Department, etc. regarding any driver/truck compliance documents, paper logs (if applicable), Electronic Logging Devices (“ELD”), bills of lading, settlement paperwork, safety accident/incident forms and any other compliance performance forms.
